Amalfi and Tuscany are warm and sun-drenched May through early October (75–88°F). July and August are lively and hot; May, June, September, and early October offer the classic golden light with more relaxed crowds.

Cliffside Amalfi suites and Chianti estates for June–September should be booked 6 – 9 months out. Weddings and truffle-season stays (October–November in Tuscany) benefit from 9 – 12 months' lead time.
